Packages and Cost

We are now booking several exciting six-day packages from Monday to Saturday ONLY, (except for the Bear Viewing packages). All the rates are for one person and include transportation from Akhiok to the AAA campsite, all family style meals, camp style accommodations, basic fishing gear for the fishing packages and unguided access to one of the world's best undiscovered wildlife areas.

You will need to bring rain gear, including knee high boots, and warm clothing.

The Silver Sports Fishing packages will be offered on the following dates:

The Guided Hiking package will be offered one time only on October 4-9 for a cost of $1250. You will spend the first night in the AAA campsite area, and then you will hike to Akhiok village. It will be a leisurely hike along riversides, beaches and rolling hillsides.

The Bird Viewing packages will be offered on the following dates.

We ask that you make your booking as early as possible to ensure you receive the package of your choice. At the time of booking you are required to send a deposit of 50% (check or money order please, until we get set up for credit cards) postmarked on the date of the booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival. Deposits are NOT REFUNDABLE, but will be applied to another package. Cancellations less than 30 days will forfeit your final payment, UNLESS another client books the same package. In addition to the prices above you will need to purchase airfare to the Village of Akhiok on Kodiak Island, and also licenses and tags depending on your package. The camp manager or representative of AAA will meet you at Akhiok and transport you by skiff to the campsite, which is about a 2.5 hour trip.

NOTICE: The weather in Alaska is very unpredictable, so be prepared for unexpected delays in Anchorage, Kodiak or Akhiok. In Akhiok Village there are no hotels, so rooms will be offered in certain corporation shareholder's homes for $100 per night. If there is a weather delay we will try to provide other fishing or sightseeing options.
